Educate. Encourage. Empower.

Welcome to the African American Alliance (A3), we believe in the unique perspectives and contributions of Black Professionals and strive to incorporate the richness of our individual experiences and showcase the collective strength that arises from embracing our differences in each of our events.

We are here to serve the needs of African American professionals by providing access to professional development opportunities to encourage members to acquire new skills to advance in their careers. Our goal is to foster meaningful connections, that not only strengthen our internal bonds but also contribute to the betterment of our communities.

Our Vision

We envision a space where Black Professionals feel valued and empowered. In line with this vision, we partner with companies and organizations that are committed to not just acknowledge diversity and inclusion as a goal but to strive relentlessly to make it a reality.

Our Journey

The African American Alliance was established as a response to the need for a platform to address the unique challenges faced by Black employees. Notably, A3 has been instrumental in hosting impactful events such as Happy Hours and Executive Panel Discussions, featuring distinguished executives from prominent corporations like Chevron, General Electric and ExxonMobil. These events have not only provided a platform for networking but also facilitated insightful conversations on navigating the corporate landscape as African Americans.

Join us on this transformative journey and partake in activities that give back to communities, facilitate networking, and forge partnerships with other local Black Professionals from companies within the Greater Houston.
